The Cress Creek senior men's golf group, called the MEGs-or "most experienced golfers"-invites interested male members to join the group every Tuesday and Thursday for a day of fun, competition, and prizes.

MEGs tee off at 9:30 am during the summer months and at 10 am during the winter, pending frost delays. The group plays different formats, depending on the number of players and teams they have on any given day. Full handicaps are used for scoring.

In addition, MEGs play home and away games with other area golf clubs during the year, and arrange a two-three day travel golf outing at places like Canaan Valley. The "Official" season kicks off and ends each year with two MEGs dinners for couples, exclusive to MEG members, one in April and one in November. The dinners are great fun, providing the MEGs and their spouses or significant others with a chance to get acquainted and enjoy an evening out.

If you would like to join the MEGs call the Pro Shop or show up one-half hour prior to tee time on the date of play. Guests are welcome to accompany members.
